Lake Wenatchee Sockeye

Sockeye salmon are among the most popular fish to catch in the Pacific Northwest. Fish return up the Columbia River making their way to spawning rivers near lakes, where juvenile fish will spend one to two years before returning to the saltwater. Lake Wenatchee is a large natural lake that is perfect for sockeye. Fish are there in great numbers during the summer months and provide a fishery for sportsman.
